Toronto's Top 5 Burgers

Toronto. The 6ix. T-dot. Whatever you call it, it’s fair to say that this city is home to some of the best burger joints around. Oh, and you can trust us because us ladies at LANGsura are burger connoisseurs (aka We. Love. Burgers.). Torontonians are foodies by nature, and with burgers available in all shapes, sizes and flavours, there are almost more patties in the city than there are days in the year. So we did our homework this weekend, (and gained the calories) to find out where you can get some of the best burgers in the city!

We recommend our skate date dress when trying our top 5 spots  ;)  #shoplangsura

Holy Chuck

If you head out to this Rosedale staple, you must order the Cowlorie. It’s a double cheeseburger topped with caramelized onions and sandwiched between not one but TWO grilled cheese sandwiches*.

Burgers Priest

They don’t serve burgers on Sundays (they’re at church, duh), but stop by any other day of the week and enjoy a good ol’ cheeseburger. Want to be a bit more adventurous with you appetite? Take their quiz and gain access to their secret menu.

Big Smoke Burger

From a basic burger or jerk chicken sandwich to my personal favourite the Crazy burger (with banana peppers, red cabbage, melted cheese, BBQ sauce and lettuce), you can literally order anything here! Side note: order the poutine. You won’t be sorry.

P&L Burger

So when Burgers Priest is at church, we head over to P&L. The P&L burger hits every spot, with cheddar, bacon onion jam, lettuce and dill pickle mayo. And in case you’re in the mood for some savoury poultry, the fried chicken at P&L is finger lickin’ good.

5 Guys Burgers and Fries

These burgers are not for the faint of heart. At 5 Guys, there are literally 250,000 ways to order your burger. They cook everything in peanut oil, which is not only good for you but makes everything taste better (amazing, right?). And if you want to 5 Guys it and not feel so guilty, you can choose the little option. But ALWAYS get the Cajun fries. Always.

So if you live in Toronto, or are just visiting the city, make sure to treat yo’ self to some of the best ground chuck around.

Happy eating!
